Honestly, I was a little skeptical about a traveling mechanic that would come to me to fix my car. But I was completely wrong. Alex responded to my inquiry right away. He came to my work. Alex is a master at his craft. Alex was very communicative with me through out the entire process of getting the car inspected. I was getting a 2014 BMW 335i inspected and on paper it looked really good. Really clean and seemed like it would run for a very long time. I live about 100 miles down south from LA and I didn’t want to drive up to LA and waste money driving up there just to find something on the car and not buy it, or even worse buy the car and have it blow up on me in the future.
Alex got there and found a knocking in the engine through the oil filler cap. The noise was so quiet that it would have been really hard for me to hear. Alex saved me TONS of money in the future.
If you are in the LA area and need a mechanic or just an inspection on any car, I highly highly recommend Alex.

Buying a used car alone can be intimidating. I had already seen 3 vehicles by myself and trying to get the sellers to agree to take the car to a mechanic was problematic. Enter Alex (On the Go Mechanic)! He not only did an inspection of the car, but totally acted as my companion through the process, making it clear I wasn’t there “alone and helpless”. He asked the seller key questions, even drove the car himself to get an overall feel beyond the mechanical inspection. Finally, he made recommendations about the purchase and even guided me through the steps for transferring the title at DMV, etc. I felt assured by his expertise and I now am the happy owner of the car he inspected.
